Jagenberg Paper Systems GmbH, with its headquarters in Krefeld, Germany, is an expert in the production and modernization of machines and systems in the paper industry. The company offers internationally customized solutions tailored to customer requirements.
Jagenberg Paper Systems has received an order from Zellstoff Pöls AG, Austria, one of the largest manufacturers of high-quality, elemental chlorine-free bleached long-fiber sulfate pulp, for the supply of a new doctor winder. The winder with individual equipment was developed especially for the customer. Christoph Racz, Managing Director of Jagenberg Paper Systems GmbH comments: "We are very pleased to be able to manufacture a winder tailored to our customer's requirements. We are sure that - not least due to the intensive cooperation during the project phase - we will meet the expectations of Zellstoff Pöls and successfully complete the project in the usual trustful cooperation until commissioning at the beginning of 2022".
The machine is used both as a doctor winder and for the production of small-format customer rolls. Narrow rolls with a width of 70mm and kraft papers with a basis weight of 20 - 120 g/m2 can be handled. The winder will be completely assembled and tested at the workshop in Krefeld. Delivery and commissioning at the customer's site will take place in January 2022.
